Diese Kr\u00e4ne sind f\u00fcr die gr\u00f6ssten Containerschiffe der Welt konzipiert und stellen einen wichtigen Schritt im Rahmen des Modernisierungsprogramms &#8222;Project Emerald&#8220; dar, wie das Unternehmen mitteilt. Mit dieser Investition werde der Hafen von Antwerpen auf die Anforderungen des globalen Handels mit grossen Containerschiffen der Zukunft vorbereitet.<\/p>\n<p>Die neuen STS-Kr\u00e4ne sind die gr\u00f6ssten ihrer Art, die jemals f\u00fcr den Hafen bestellt wurden. Ihre Installation soll es erm\u00f6glichen, ultragrosse Containerschiffe zu bedienen. Die Kr\u00e4ne erreichen eine H\u00f6he von 52 m und verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber eine Reichweite von 71,8 m, was gem\u00e4ss PSA Antwerpen den Umgang mit Schiffen erm\u00f6glicht, die bis zu 26 Container in der Breite transportieren k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<h3>Betriebseffizienz und Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit<\/h3>\n<p>Mit einer Doppelhebekapazit\u00e4t von bis zu 112 t sollen die neuen Kr\u00e4ne die Betriebseffizienz und Produktivit\u00e4t der Liegepl\u00e4tze steigern. Dies soll sich ausserdem positiv auf die Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit des Service f\u00fcr die Kundschaft des Unternehmens auswirken.
