Diese Tests, die im Januar 2026 abgeschlossen wurden, markieren einen Fortschritt in den Bem\u00fchungen um einen kohlenstofffreien Schiffsverkehr, wie das Unternehmen mitteilt. Die Pr\u00fcfungen fanden in der Engine &amp; Machinery (HHI-EMD)-Anlage von HD Hyundai Heavy Industries in S\u00fcdkorea statt und wurden von der Klassifikationsgesellschaft Lloyd&#8217;s Register (LR) sowie Vertretenden anderer gro\u00dfer Klassifikationsgesellschaften unter der Aufsicht von EXMAR begleitet.<\/p>\n<h3>Richtung Dekarbonisierung<\/h3>\n<p>Der getestete Motor, ein 52-Bohrer-Motor, ist f\u00fcr einen 46.000 m\u00b3 LPG\/Ammoniak-Tr\u00e4ger vorgesehen, der von EXMAR in Auftrag gegeben wurde. Die Schiffe dieser Serie sollen nach Angaben von WinGD die ersten ihrer Art sein, die mit ammoniakbetriebenen Motoren in den kommerziellen Dienst gehen.
