Februar 2026, eine Vereinbarung mit ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. unterzeichnet, die den Erwerb von 100% der Anteile an ZIM f\u00fcr 35 USD pro Aktie in bar vorsieht. Der Gesamtwert der Transaktion bel\u00e4uft sich auf \u00fcber 4 Mrd. USD. ZIM ist die zehntgr\u00f6sste Containerreederei der Welt.<\/p>\n<p>Die \u00dcbernahme wird von FIMI Opportunity Funds, dem gr\u00f6ssten privaten Eigenkapitalfonds Israels, begleitet, der eine eigenst\u00e4ndige Containerreederei gr\u00fcnden wird. Diese neue Reederei wird einige der wichtigsten Handelsrouten bedienen und nahtlos mit dem globalen Netzwerk von Hapag-Lloyd verbunden sein. Die neue Linie wird mit 16 modernen und leistungsf\u00e4higen Schiffen starten und die Verantwortung f\u00fcr das sogenannte \u201eGoldene Aktien\u201c-Recht sowie die Marke ZIM \u00fcbernehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Vollziehung der Transaktion steht unter dem Vorbehalt der Genehmigung durch die Aktion\u00e4re von ZIM sowie die relevanten Regulierungsbeh\u00f6rden. Die Fusion von Hapag-Lloyd und ZIM w\u00fcrde die Marktposition von Hapag-Lloyd als f\u00fcnftgr\u00f6sste Containerreederei weltweit festigen. Mit einer Flotte von \u00fcber 400 Schiffen und einer Kapazit\u00e4t von mehr als 3 Mio. TEU k\u00f6nnte das kombinierte Unternehmen j\u00e4hrlich \u00fcber 18 Mio. TEU transportieren. Die Transaktion wird voraussichtlich mehrere 100 Mio. USD an j\u00e4hrlichen Synergien generieren.<\/p>\n<h3>St\u00e4rkung des globalen Netzwerks<\/h3>\n<p>Rolf Habben Jansen, CEO von Hapag-Lloyd, \u00e4usserte sich positiv \u00fcber die Partnerschaft: \u201eZIM ist ein ausgezeichneter Partner f\u00fcr Hapag-Lloyd. Kunden werden von einem erheblich gest\u00e4rkten Netzwerk profitieren.\u201c Er betonte die gemeinsamen Ambitionen beider Unternehmen in Bezug auf Kundenservice und operative Qualit\u00e4t. Die Zusammenarbeit soll dazu beitragen, ein starkes Team aus den Talenten beider Unternehmen zu bilden und eine langfristige Pr\u00e4senz in Israel aufzubauen.<\/p>\n<p>Yair Seroussi, Vorsitzender des Vorstands von ZIM, erkl\u00e4rte, dass die Entscheidung f\u00fcr die Transaktion das Ergebnis einer umfassenden strategischen \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung sei, die darauf abziele, den Aktion\u00e4rswert zu maximieren. Er betonte, dass dies die beste L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr alle Beteiligten darstelle und die Wertsch\u00f6pfung des Unternehmens seit dem B\u00f6rsengang weiter vorantreibe.<\/p>\n<p>Ishay Davidi, Gr\u00fcnder und CEO der FIMI Funds, hob die strategische Bedeutung einer starken, unabh\u00e4ngigen israelischen Reederei hervor. FIMI plant, die neue ZIM zu einem stabilen Unternehmen zu entwickeln und sieht Hapag-Lloyd als wichtigen strategischen Partner. Die neue ZIM wird \u00fcber bedeutende transatlantische Kapazit\u00e4ten verf\u00fcgen und zus\u00e4tzliche Routen nach Europa, Afrika, ins Mittelmeer und zum Schwarzen Meer anbieten.<\/p>\n<p>Bis zum Abschluss der Transaktion werden Hapag-Lloyd und ZIM weiterhin als Wettbewerber agieren und ihre Gesch\u00e4fte wie gewohnt f\u00fchren.
