Diese Einrichtung stellt einen wichtigen Kontrollpunkt innerhalb der Logistikkette f\u00fcr lebende Tiere von CargoLand by LGG dar und gew\u00e4hrleistet, dass jedes Tier, das LGG betritt oder verl\u00e4sst, vollst\u00e4ndig den Vorschriften f\u00fcr Tiergesundheit und Biosicherheit entspricht. Alle lebenden Tiere, die den Flughafen durchqueren, unterliegen strengen veterin\u00e4rmedizinischen Kontrollen, um sowohl das Wohl der Tiere als auch die Integrit\u00e4t des grenz\u00fcberschreitenden Handels zu sch\u00fctzen. Die Einweihung des modernisierten Vet Centers stellt einen bedeutenden Schritt zur St\u00e4rkung der Infrastruktur von CargoLand by LGG dar, die sich der regulierten und verantwortungsvollen Bef\u00f6rderung lebender Tiere widmet.<\/p>\n<h3>Moderne Ausstattung f\u00fcr effektive Kontrollen<\/h3>\n<p>Das renovierte Vet Center verf\u00fcgt nun \u00fcber vollst\u00e4ndig ausgestattete Inspektionszonen und einen isolierten Quarant\u00e4nebereich. Dies erm\u00f6glicht es den Tier\u00e4rzten, Tiere, die einer Beobachtung oder zus\u00e4tzlichen Tests bed\u00fcrfen, zu betreuen, ohne den laufenden Betrieb zu st\u00f6ren. Diese Anordnung erlaubt die gleichzeitige Bearbeitung mehrerer Sendungen, w\u00e4hrend strenge Biosicherheitsma\u00dfnahmen und betriebliche Kontinuit\u00e4t gewahrt bleiben.<\/p>\n<p>Das Vet Center ist so gestaltet, dass es eine Vielzahl von Arten und Szenarien unterst\u00fctzt und die veterin\u00e4rmedizinischen Dienste der belgischen Bundesagentur f\u00fcr die Sicherheit der Nahrungsmittelkette (AFSCA) bei der Durchf\u00fchrung detaillierter sanit\u00e4ren Inspektionen unterst\u00fctzt. Dazu geh\u00f6ren Gesundheitsstatuspr\u00fcfungen, Dokumentenkontrollen und Bewertungen der Transportbedingungen. Im Jahr 2025 wurden in der Einrichtung 3.766 Equiden sowie verschiedene lebende Sendungen wie Zierfische, Insekten und kleine S\u00e4ugetiere bearbeitet, was die wachsende Komplexit\u00e4t der von CargoLand by LGG verwalteten sanit\u00e4ren Kontrollaktivit\u00e4ten unterstreicht.<\/p>\n<p>Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Brun, Leiter des Bereichs Commercial Cargo &amp; Logistics bei CargoLand by LGG, erkl\u00e4rt: \u201eDie Renovierung des Vet Centers wurde von sehr konkreten sanit\u00e4ren und betrieblichen Gegebenheiten vorangetrieben. Wir bearbeiten zunehmend h\u00f6here Volumina und komplexere Bewegungen lebender Tiere. Diese verbesserte Infrastruktur erm\u00f6glicht es uns, die veterin\u00e4rmedizinische Kontrollkapazit\u00e4t zu st\u00e4rken und die h\u00f6chsten Standards f\u00fcr Tiergesundheit und -wohlfahrt aufrechtzuerhalten.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Das Vet Center ist ein integraler Bestandteil des umfassenden \u00d6kosystems f\u00fcr lebende Tiere von CargoLand by LGG, zu dem auch die Horse Inn geh\u00f6rt, die in sicheren und kontrollierten Bedingungen bis zu 12.000 Pferde pro Jahr unterbringen kann.
