USD in einer Series-A-Finanzierungsrunde gesichert. Diese Mittel sollen die Zertifizierung und Kommerzialisierung des Flugzeugs beschleunigen. Die aktualisierte Version des HORIZON EVO, die auf R\u00fcckmeldungen der FAA und von Fluggesellschaften basiert, wechselt von einem einst\u00f6ckigen zu einem zweist\u00f6ckigen Layout. Dies verbessert die Notausg\u00e4nge, die Umschlagzeiten und die betriebliche Praktikabilit\u00e4t, w\u00e4hrend die Kompatibilit\u00e4t mit bestehender Flughafeninfrastruktur erhalten bleibt.<\/p>\n<p>Das Flugzeug ist darauf ausgelegt, bis zu 250 Passagiere sowie Standard-Frachtcontainer zu transportieren. Es kombiniert die F\u00e4higkeit, sowohl Passagiere als auch Fracht zu bef\u00f6rdern, mit einem geringeren Treibstoffverbrauch. Natilus strebt an, die FAA-Zertifizierung zu erlangen und in den fr\u00fchen 2030er Jahren in den kommerziellen Betrieb zu gehen.<\/p>\n<p>Die neue Finanzierungsrunde wurde von Draper Associates geleitet, an der auch Investoren aus der Logistik- und Luftfahrtbranche wie Flexport und New Vista Capital beteiligt sind. Diese Mittel werden die erste Vollskalenflugtest des regionalen Frachtflugzeugs KONA sowie die weitere Entwicklung des HORIZON EVO unterst\u00fctzen. Natilus gibt an, dass seine Plattform mit Blended-Wing-Design den Treibstoffverbrauch um etwa 30% und die Betriebskosten um bis zu 50% senken kann.<\/p>\n<p>Mit \u00fcber 570 Vorbestellungen f\u00fcr Flugzeuge im Wert von 24 Mrd.
