Diese Systeme sind entscheidend f\u00fcr die \u00dcberwachung des Zugverkehrs, da sie registrieren, wann ein Zug einen Abschnitt betritt und verl\u00e4sst. In \u00d6sterreich sind derzeit etwa 33.000 Isolierst\u00f6\u00dfe im Einsatz, die jedoch an stark frequentierten Strecken h\u00e4ufig schnell verschleissen, wie die Technische Universit\u00e4t Graz (TU Graz) k\u00fcrzlich mitgeteilt hat.<\/p>\n<h3>Neue Entwicklungen an der TU Graz<\/h3>\n<p>Die TU Graz hat in Zusammenarbeit mit den \u00d6sterreichischen Bundesbahnen (\u00d6BB) und Martin Schienentechnik einen Prototyp f\u00fcr robustere Isolierst\u00f6sse entwickelt. Diese neuen Isolierst\u00f6sse sollen aus einem optimierten Material und mit innovativen Geometrien gefertigt werden. Ziel dieser Entwicklung ist es, die Lebensdauer der Isolierst\u00f6ssen signifikant zu verl\u00e4ngern. Laut den aktuellen Forschungsergebnissen der TU Graz wird erwartet, dass die neuen Isolierst\u00f6\u00dfe eine mindestens doppelt so lange Lebensdauer aufweisen wie die bisherigen Modelle.
