Die neue Einrichtung wird im CargoCity South entstehen und soll bis Ende 2028 fertiggestellt sein. Mit diesem Projekt beabsichtigt Fraport, die Entwicklung des CargoCity South als bedeutenden Standort f\u00fcr Luftfracht weiter voranzutreiben.<\/p>\n<p>Julia Kranenberg, Mitglied des Vorstands und Chief Retail and Real Estate Officer von Fraport AG, \u00e4usserte sich erfreut \u00fcber die Entscheidung von K\u00fchne+Nagel, ihre Pr\u00e4senz am Frankfurter Flughafen auszubauen. Sie betonte, dass das neue Lager eine moderne und effiziente Luftfrachtanlage bieten werde, die dem Logistikunternehmen aussergew\u00f6hnliche Wachstums- und Expansionsm\u00f6glichkeiten am f\u00fchrenden Frachtstandort Europas er\u00f6ffne.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Sch\u00e4fer, Senior Vice President Air Logistics Germany bei K\u00fchne+Nagel, erkl\u00e4rte, dass Frankfurt ein wichtiger globaler Zugangspunkt im Luftlogistiknetzwerk von K\u00fchne+Nagel sei. Er hob hervor, dass die neue Frachtanlage die notwendige Infrastruktur, Kapazit\u00e4t und Anbindung bereitstelle, um die Wachstumsambitionen des Unternehmens zu unterst\u00fctzen und den Warenfluss aufrechtzuerhalten. Dies sei besonders wichtig f\u00fcr Kunden in schnell wachsenden Sektoren wie Gesundheitswesen, Halbleiter, Hochtechnologie und Cloud-Infrastruktur.<\/p>\n<p>Fraport wird den Bau des neuen Lagers \u00fcberwachen, das Teil des eigenen Geb\u00e4udeportfolios bleibt. K\u00fchne+Nagel ist seit \u00fcber 20 Jahren am Frankfurter Frachtstandort aktiv, und die Anmietung des neuen Lagers wird die Pr\u00e4senz des Unternehmens weiter st\u00e4rken.<\/p>\n<p>Das Baugel\u00e4nde f\u00fcr das neue Lager befindet sich im Luftfrachtbereich 2 des Flughafens und umfasst eine Fl\u00e4che von etwa 16.900 m\u00b2. Es liegt direkt neben dem Zugangstor 31 des Flughafens. Das Geb\u00e4ude wird \u00fcber 7.600 m\u00b2 Lagerfl\u00e4che sowie zus\u00e4tzliche 1.100 m\u00b2 f\u00fcr B\u00fcros und Sozialr\u00e4ume verf\u00fcgen. Mit 16 Toren und Lkw-Docks bietet die Einrichtung ausreichend Platz f\u00fcr Fahr- und Man\u00f6vrierbewegungen. Zudem wurde das Konzept unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung strenger Umweltkriterien entwickelt. Auf dem Dach wird eine grosse Photovoltaikanlage installiert, die gr\u00fcnen Strom in das Netz des Flughafens einspeisen wird. Fraport strebt zudem an, das Geb\u00e4ude nach dem Gold-Zertifikat des Deutschen Nachhaltigkeitsrates (DGNB) zertifizieren zu lassen.<\/p>\n<p>Die neue Einrichtung ist ein zentraler Bestandteil der Strategie von Fraport, aktiv am Wachstum des Luftfrachtmarktes teilzunehmen. Im Rahmen dieser Strategie hat Fraport einen CargoHub-Masterplan entwickelt, der darauf abzielt, den Frachtstandort FRA in den kommenden Jahren weiter zu st\u00e4rken. Der Masterplan umfasst drei wesentliche Initiativen: Fl\u00e4chenoptimierung, Fl\u00e4chenentwicklung sowie Digitalisierung und Prozessinnovation. Durch diese Massnahmen arbeitet Fraport daran, den Frachtstandort FRA nachhaltig zu entwickeln, um der wachsenden Nachfrage gerecht zu werden. Dies soll sicherstellen, dass Partner und Kunden in Frankfurt weiterhin von optimalen Wachstumsbedingungen profitieren, einschlie\u00dflich hoher Anbindung, moderner Infrastruktur und effizienter
