Diese Entscheidung tritt am 1. Juni 2026 in Kraft, w\u00e4hrend Ray bereits ab dem 1. Februar 2026 als COO-elect in die neue Rolle eingestiegen ist. Er wird direkt an Raj Subramaniam, den Pr\u00e4sidenten und CEO von FedEx, berichten und ist das neueste Mitglied des FedEx Executive Committee. Ray folgt auf John Smith, der am 1. Juni 2026 die Position des CEO von FedEx Freight \u00fcbernehmen wird.<\/p>\n<p>In seiner neuen Funktion wird Ray f\u00fcr alle Aspekte der Surface Operations in den USA und Kanada verantwortlich sein. Dazu geh\u00f6rt die t\u00e4gliche Durchf\u00fchrung sicherer und zuverl\u00e4ssiger Paketlieferungen sowie die effektive Umsetzung strategischer Initiativen, einschliesslich des Programms Network 2.0.<\/p>\n<p>Ray bringt eine umfassende Erfahrung in der operativen Leitung mit, die sich \u00fcber 39 Jahre bei FedEx erstreckt. Seit 2024 war er Pr\u00e4sident der Surface Operations und hat zuvor als Executive Vice President und COO von FedEx Ground gedient. W\u00e4hrend seiner Karriere hat Ray mehrere Transformationsprojekte geleitet, darunter die Konsolidierung der operativen Netzwerke von Ground und Home Delivery im Jahr 2010 sowie die Integration des FedEx SmartPost-Gesch\u00e4fts im Jahr 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Raj Subramaniam \u00e4usserte sich zu Rays Ernennung und betonte dessen wesentliche Rolle bei der Leitung der Network 2.0-Initiative sowie der Vereinheitlichung der F\u00fchrungsteams in den Surface Operations. \u201eSeine umfassende Erfahrung, sein kooperativer Geist und seine operative Anleitung werden entscheidend dazu beitragen, langfristigen Wert f\u00fcr unsere Kunden, Teammitglieder und Aktion\u00e4re zu schaffen\u201c, so Subramaniam.<\/p>\n<p>Die F\u00fchrungsteams der Surface Operations werden direkt an Ray berichten.
