Die Fluggesellschaft hat eine verbindliche Bestellung \u00fcber 31 neue Airbus-Flugzeuge aufgegeben, darunter 16 A330-900neo und 15 A350-900. Die Auslieferungen dieser Maschinen sind f\u00fcr das Jahr 2029 vorgesehen. Diese Bestellung umfasst zehn zuvor gehaltene Optionen und f\u00fcgt 20 neue Optionen f\u00fcr zuk\u00fcnftige Grossraumflugzeuge hinzu.<\/p>\n<h3>Erweiterung der Flotte und Effizienzsteigerung<\/h3>\n<p>Laut CEO Ed Bastian wird Delta mit diesen neuen Flugzeugen in der Lage sein, ihre Kapazit\u00e4ten f\u00fcr internationale M\u00e4rkte zu erweitern und gleichzeitig die Effizienz sowie die Premium-Angebote zu verbessern. Mit dieser Bestellung wird die Airbus-Grossraumflotte von Delta auf insgesamt 55 A330neo und 79 A350s anwachsen, einschlie\u00dflich 20 A350-1000, deren Auslieferung ab Anfang 2027 geplant ist.<\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich hat Delta im Januar eine erste Bestellung \u00fcber 30 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aufgegeben, um die Flottenmodernisierung voranzutreiben und die Langstreckenoperationen auszubauen. Die neuen Flugzeuge werden sowohl die Passagier- als auch die Frachtkapazit\u00e4ten st\u00e4rken.<\/p>\n<p>Die Spezifikationen der neuen Flugzeuge zeigen, dass die A350-900 etwa 36 LD3-Container (ca. 172 m\u00b3) und eine Frachtkapazit\u00e4t von rund 19 bis 20 t bieten kann. Der A330-900neo kann etwa 33 LD3-Container (ca. 163 m\u00b3) transportieren, w\u00e4hrend der Boeing 787-10 Platz f\u00fcr etwa 40 LD3-Container (ca. 175 m\u00b3) und eine Frachtkapazit\u00e4t von 13 bis 15 t hat.
