Moller &#8211; Maersk (Maersk) bekannt gegeben, dass das Unternehmen eine R\u00fcckkehr zur trans-Suez-Route f\u00fcr den MECL-Service plant. Diese Entscheidung folgt auf die erfolgreichen Durchfahrten der Containerschiffe &#8222;Maersk Sebarok&#8220; und <a href=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/2026\/01\/13\/maersk-denver-passes-bab-el-mandeb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8222;Maersk Denver&#8220; durch den Suezkanal<\/a>. Der MECL-Service verbindet den Nahen Osten und Indien mit der Ostk\u00fcste der USA und wird ausschliesslich von Maersk betrieben. Die erste Fahrt des MECL-Dienstes findet auf der Westroute durch den Suezkanal (Reise 603W) statt. Die &#8222;Cornelia Maersk&#8220; ist am 15. Januar 2026 in Jebel Ali ausgelaufen.<\/p>\n<p>Maersk betont, dass die Sicherheit der Besatzung, der Verm\u00f6genswerte und der Fracht der Kunden &#8222;oberste Priorit\u00e4t&#8220; hat. Das Unternehmen werde die Sicherheitslage in der Region Naher Osten beobachten. \u00c4nderungen am MECL-Service werden von der Stabilit\u00e4t im Roten Meer abh\u00e4ngen.
