Dematic baut dabei auf seiner 30-j\u00e4hrigen Zusammenarbeit mit Woolworths auf.<\/p>\n<p>(Sydney\/Australien; Heusenstamm) Als weltweit f\u00fchrender Innovator im Bereich der Lagerautomatisierung, beliefert Dematic bereits seit mehr als 50 Jahren den Supply-Chain-Sektor in Australien. \u201eDurch unsere lokalen Kapazit\u00e4ten mit mehr als 600 Besch\u00e4ftigten und einer Fertigungseinrichtung in Sydney gew\u00e4hrleisten wir unseren Kunden in der Region Systeme und Serviceleistungen von h\u00f6chster Qualit\u00e4t\u201c, so Michael Jerogin, CEO von Dematic APAC. \u201eWir sind stolz darauf, dass Woolworths besonderes Vertrauen in uns als Partner setzt und freuen uns, auf dieser Partnerschaft weiter aufzubauen, indem wir eine wichtige Rolle in der Automatisierungsstrategie des Unternehmens spielen.\u201c<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Paletten werden ans Ladenlayout angepasst<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Die im neuen NDC installierte Dematic-L\u00f6sung stellt an das Ladenlayout der Einzelhandelsgesch\u00e4fte von Woolworths angepasste Paletten zusammen. Zudem wird das Flexible Mixed Case Order Fulfillment System, das auf dem Dematic iQ Warehouse Management System (WMS) basiert, f\u00fcr mehr als 9.000 Produkte von 900 Zulieferern und f\u00fcr die t\u00e4gliche Belieferung von mehr als 1.000 M\u00e4rkten im ganzen Land ausgelegt sein.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr die n\u00f6tige Flexibilit\u00e4t innerhalb des 40.700 Quadratmeter gro\u00dfen NDC sorgt unter anderem die Wall-to-Wall-Automatisierung. Damit kann die Supermarkkette saisonalen und anderen Nachfragespitzen gerecht werden, wie sie beispielsweise aktuell w\u00e4hrend der COVID-19-Pandemie auftreten. Die L\u00f6sung ist nicht nur f\u00fcr die Lieferung von Ladenbestellungen ausgelegt, sondern tr\u00e4gt dar\u00fcber hinaus auch dem erwarteten Wachstum von Woolworth durch integrierte Skalierbarkeit und Modularit\u00e4t Rechnung.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>26&#8217;000 Lastwagenfahrten einsparen<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Allein durch die Transportvorteile erwartet die Supermarktkette, j\u00e4hrlich mindestens 26.000 Lastwagenlieferungen zwischen den Woolworths-Einrichtungen einsparen zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Graham, Managing Director bei Primary Connect und Chief Supply Chain Officer bei der Woolworths Group, fasst die Zielsetzung zusammen: \u201eMit der Investition wollen wir die Belieferung unserer Gesch\u00e4fte v\u00f6llig neu zu konzipieren, unser Vertriebsnetz st\u00e4rken und unsere Ambitionen umsetzen, die beste Lebensmittel-Supply-Chain Australiens zu errichten.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Graham weiter: \u201eDurch die hochmoderne Automatisierungstechnik werden wir in der Lage sein, ma\u00dfgeschneiderte Paletten f\u00fcr bestimmte G\u00e4nge in den einzelnen L\u00e4den bereitzustellen. Dadurch wird die Produktverf\u00fcgbarkeit im Regal verbessert, weil wir Produkte schneller wieder auff\u00fcllen k\u00f6nnen. Au\u00dferdem werden Staus in besonders belebten G\u00e4ngen reduziert und es entsteht eine sicherere Arbeitsumgebung f\u00fcr unsere Teams mit weniger manuellen T\u00e4tigkeiten.\u201c<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Produktepalette ausbauen<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Woolworths erwartet mithilfe der neuen Installation auch seine lokale Produktpalette ausbauen zu k\u00f6nnen, da Tausende zus\u00e4tzliche Produkte nun zentral gelagert werden k\u00f6nnen, f\u00fcr die in den bestehenden Einrichtungen bis dato kein Platz war.<\/p>\n<p>Pas Tomasiello, Senior Director f\u00fcr Integrated Systems bei Dematic, und sein Team arbeiteten eng mit dem Woolworths Supply Chain Development Team zusammen, um die Dematic-Systeme zu optimieren und deren v\u00f6llige Skalierbarkeit zu nutzen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eDie neue Einrichtung ist voll und ganz darauf ausgelegt, Woolworths dabei zu unterst\u00fctzen, eine breitere Palette von verpackten Waren, die nicht so schnell verkauft werden m\u00fcssen, effizienter an einem zentralen Ort zu f\u00fchren, anstatt sie auf mehrere Standorte verteilen zu m\u00fcssen\u201c, erl\u00e4uterte Tomasiello. \u201eDie Zentralisierung in Verbindung mit der fortschrittlichen Automatisierung wird es Woolworths erm\u00f6glichen, gr\u00f6\u00dfere Volumina abzubilden und auch hinsichtlich Geschwindigkeit und Pr\u00e4zision der Lieferungen an Gesch\u00e4fte im ganzen Land signifikante Verbesserungen zu erzielen.\u201c<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Inbetriebnahme 2023<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Dazu wird das Dematic iQ WMS eine Schnittstelle zu den Systemen von Woolworths bilden und das Distributionszentrum mit Industrie-4.0-F\u00e4higkeiten im Hinblick auf Systeminterkonnektivit\u00e4t, datengesteuerte Intelligenz und Entscheidungsunterst\u00fctzungs-Tools ausstatten. Dadurch k\u00f6nnen die Prozesse dank schnellerer Einblicke und bereitgestellter Entscheidungsfunktionen zus\u00e4tzlich verbessert werden.
