DHL Global Forwarding ist mit dem Transport von Impfstoffen nach Japan beauftragt worden. Die erste Lieferung der COVID-19 Impfstoffe erreichte Japan Ender letzter Woche. Nach der Zollabfertigung nimmt DHL auch die Zwischenlagerung vor. Deep Freezer in der Niederlassung sorgen f\u00fcr sichere Lagerung bei -70 Grad bis zur finalen Verteilung an die Impfzentren in Japan.<\/p>\n

(Bonn) DHL Global Forwarding, der Spezialist f\u00fcr Luft- und Seefracht von Deutsche Post DHL Group, ist mit dem Transport von Impfstoffen nach Japan beauftragt worden und baut damit seinen Anteil in der weltweiten Impfstofflogistik weiter aus. Die erste Lieferung der COVID-19 Impfstoffe erreichte Japan Ender letzter Woche. Weitere Transporte \u00fcber das DHL Global Forwarding Hub in Belgien werden \u00fcber das Jahr hinweg erfolgen. DHL \u00fcbernimmt auch die notwendige Zollabwicklung und die Zwischenlagerung in Japan, bevor die Impfstoffe dann an unterschiedliche Impfzentren im Land verteilt werden.<\/p>\n

Logistik spielt die entscheidende Rolle<\/strong><\/h5>\n

„Mit der Entwicklung eines Impfstoffes hat die Welt einen weiteren wichtigen Schritt zur Bek\u00e4mpfung von COVID-19 getan. Nun ist es entscheidend, diesen so vielen Menschen wie m\u00f6glich zug\u00e4nglich zu machen“, so Tim Scharwath, CEO von DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. „Logistik spielt hierbei eine entscheidende Rolle. Es ist unsere Aufgabe, die Impfstoffe \u00fcberall dorthin zu bringen, wo sie dringend gebraucht werden und wir sind uns unserer Verantwortung bewusst.“<\/p>\n

Um die COVID-19 Impfdosen sicher bei -70 Grad lagern zu k\u00f6nnen, bevor sie dann final in Japan verteilt werden, wurden neue Deep Freezer in einem DHL Lagerhaus installiert. Zudem wurde der Betrieb im Lagerhaus hochgefahren und durch das Projekt entstehen neue Arbeitspl\u00e4tze f\u00fcr Menschen in der Region.<\/p>\n

Komplexe Aufgaben nahtlos managen<\/strong><\/h5>\n
