Das Investitionsvolumen betr\u00e4gt 550 Millionen USD.<\/p>\n<p>(Hamburg) Hapag-Lloyd verst\u00e4rkt angesichts der aktuellen Situation noch einmal die Investitionen in seine Containerflotte \u2013 \u00e4hnlich wie die Containerreederei es 2020 in ihrer ersten Reaktion auf die Pandemie getan hat. Denn die Reederei ben\u00f6tigt heute deutlich mehr als die normale Anzahl von Boxen, um dasselbe Volumen zu transportieren, weil die Container langsamer zur\u00fcckgegeben werden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Containerlinienreederei hat 150.000 TEU Standardcontainer sowie moderne K\u00fchlcontainer in China bestellt. Einige Boxen wurden bereits im ersten Quartal 2021 an Hapag-Lloyd ausgeliefert und in die bestehende Containerflotte integriert. Der Gro\u00dfteil wird im Laufe der kommenden Monate ausgeliefert werden. Dar\u00fcber hinaus hat Hapag-Lloyd 8.000 TEU an Spezialcontainern bestellt, die f\u00fcr \u00fcbergro\u00dfe oder Gefahrg\u00fcter eingesetzt werden sollen.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Die aktuelle Situation entsch\u00e4rfen<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u201eDie Containerschifffahrt erlebt derzeit eine nie dagewesene Nachfrage, die zu einem Mangel an Containern auf der ganzen Welt gef\u00fchrt hat. Mit den j\u00fcngsten Containerbestellungen tr\u00e4gt Hapag-Lloyd dazu bei, die aktuelle Situation zu entsch\u00e4rfen und wird seinen Kunden einen deutlich besseren Service bieten k\u00f6nnen\u201c, sagt Rolf Habben Jansen, CEO von Hapag-Lloyd.<\/p>\n<p>Die Investitionen belaufen sich auf rund 550 Millionen US-Dollar.
