Das Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern (EBIT) wuchs auf rund 11,1 Milliarden US-Dollar (rund 9,4 Milliarden Euro). Grund f\u00fcr diese positive Gesch\u00e4ftsentwicklung waren deutlich h\u00f6here Frachtraten infolge einer sehr starken Nachfrage nach Exportg\u00fctern aus dem asiatischen Raum.<\/h5>\n<p>(Hamburg) Die Ums\u00e4tze erh\u00f6hten sich auf rund 26,4 Milliarden US-Dollar (circa 22,3 Milliarden Euro), insbesondere aufgrund der h\u00f6heren durchschnittlichen Frachtrate von 2.003 USD\/TEU (2020: 1.115 USD\/TEU). Die Transportmenge bewegte sich aufgrund der angespannten Lieferketten mit 11,9 Millionen TEU in etwa auf dem Niveau des Vorjahres (2020: 11,8 Millionen TEU). Zugleich f\u00fchrten die erheblichen St\u00f6rungen in den globalen Lieferketten zu einem deutlichen Anstieg der Transportaufwendungen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Gesch\u00e4ftsbericht und die testierten Gesch\u00e4ftszahlen f\u00fcr das Jahr 2021 sowie ein Ausblick auf das laufende Gesch\u00e4ftsjahr werden am 10.
