Prizes for design in the transport sector
Quantron, a specialist for sustainable passenger and freight transport, recently announced the winners of its Quantron Design Award. The competition, which received 35 entries from more than ten different countries and 20 universities and design schools, aimed to recognise and reward the work of talented young designers and design students.
After an intensive selection process, the jury chose three top winners and awarded an additional honourable mention: first place: Siddhartha Dutt, CCS (College for Creative Studies), Detroit, USA; second place: Ana Alvarez Mazda, Detroit, USA; third place: Lorenzo Benzoni, IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), Turin, Italy; honourable mention: George Siu Fung Lau, IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), Turin, Italy.
