Port of Long Beach picks Tasha Higgins
The Long Beach board of harbour commissioners has approved the appointment of Tasha Higgins to lead the programme management division at the port of Long Beach. Higgins joined the port in October 2020 as assistant director of programme management.
Since 1993, she’s worked on various transportation improvement programmes for agencies including Long Beach Transit, Los Angeles World Airports, and the California department of transportation.
Higgins has an MBA from the Cromwell School of Business at Biola University and a BSc in civil engineering from the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. Higgins is a board-certified civil engineer with the state of California and a certified project management professional. (cj)
