NTG picks CEO for air and ocean activities
The Nordic Transport Group (NTG) has appointed Diederick de Vroet as CEO of its air and ocean division. He started his career at Kuehne + Nagel in Rotterdam, before spending a decade in Asia, taking diverse international roles in forwarding.
He held various commercial, operational and leadership roles, most recently serving as the district manager for Beijing, Tianjin and Changchun. After returning to Europe he took on senior positions in Kuehne + Nagel’s European ocean freight division, working in both the Netherlands and the UK.
Following two decades with Kuehne+Nagel, he joined Damco in Denmark as the head of its ocean freight unit, before moving to DB Schenker in Germany as senior vice-president for global ocean freight activities.
He later rejoined Kuehne+Nagel, where he most recently served as managing director for the Netherlands. (cj)
