NTG Germany welcomes CEO for road and logistics
NTG Germany, the holding company for the road and logistics services subsidiary of the NTG Nordic Transport Group in Germany, has appointed Michael Krell as the CEO of its ‘NTG Road & Logistics’ division with effect from 1 May.
He brings a wealth of experience to his new role at NTG, having begun his career at Panalpina and Spedlog before joining Dachser, where he held various leadership positions in operations, commercial activities and HR. Since 2011, Krell has been with DB Schenker, serving as branch manager for the Ditzingen branch and most recently as head of field sales for overland transport in Germany and Switzerland.
Jesper Petersen, the CEO of ‘Road & Logistics’ at the NTG Group, said that “we’re thrilled to welcome Michael to our team. It will be of great benefit to the organisation to have an experienced leader such as Michael at the helm, especially following our recent acquisitions of Schmalz+Schön and ITC Logistic in Germany.” (cj)
