Jaxport boosts its commercial team
The Jacksonville port authority has welcomed two experienced ocean carrier executives to its commercial team. David Briceno (right) joins Jaxport as director of cargo sales for the US Southeast. His task will be to drive the container business.
Briceno has nearly two decades of experience serving in roles of increasing responsibility with global ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd.
Ocean carrier operations executive Raymond ‘Mike’ Ryan (left) has been appointed director of cargo sales for the US Northeast. His aim will be to further the growth of container volumes and support sales for breakbulk and roll-on-roll-off cargoes for customers located in the region.
Ryan most recently served as vice president of USA operations at ZIM Shipping, where he was managed terminal costs and operations for the ocean carrier’s North American terminals. (cj)
