HFW boosting its Middle Eastern practice
HFW, a leading global shipping and maritime law firm, has boosted its Middle Eastern practice by hiring shipping and offshore marine partners Robert Lawrence and Ian Chung.Collectively, they have more than 30 years of experience in the Middle East, and have joined HFW’s Dubai office from Clyde & Co, where Lawrence headed international trade and transport practice in the region. The move sees Ian Chung return to HFW, where he was a partner until 2017.HFW has operated in the Middle East for more than 15 years. It now has 20 partners and more than 50 lawyers working in offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait City and Riyadh, making it one of the largest international law firms in the region. (cj)
