Dominik de Daniel to be CEO
Karl Gernandt managed Kühne Holding, headquartered in Schindellegi (Switzerland), for 16 years, overseeing the company’s growth and acquisition of significant holdings, particularly in the logistics and transport sectors. Kühne Holding, which has been very successful ever since, is part of Klaus-Michael Kühne's sphere of interest.
Gernandt, formerly executive chairman, has now decided to hand over part of his responsibilities to a chief executive officer (CEO) on 1 April 2024, but will remain chairman of the board of directors. On this date, Dominik de Daniel will take over operational management as CEO.
A qualified banker, de Daniel spent over 20 years as chief financial officer (CFO) at various listed companies. Most recently, he was CFO at the Swiss testing, inspection, and certification group SGS Société Générale de Surveillance. (cj)
