DB extends contracts for five years
At its regular meeting, the supervisory board of Deutsche Bahn extended the contracts of Sigrid Nikutta and Levin Holle by five years each. Nikutta will be in charge of freight transport until 31 December 2027. Holle will now lead the finance and logistics division until 31 January 2028. Both joined DB at the beginning of 2020.
At the same time, the appointment of Ronald Pofalla, member of the management board responsible for infrastructure, will end prematurely on 30 April 2022. Pofalla had recently announced his departure from Deutsche Bahn.
Until a decision is made on a replacement, Richard Lutz will head the infrastructure department on a provisional basis in accordance with the relevant rules on deputisation. (cj)
