Xpediator swallows Nidd Transport
The Xpediator Group, formerly trading as “Delamode” and now a logistics services provider active across the UK and Europe, has acquired the UK-based international groupage freight forwarder Nidd Transport. GBP 4.6 million were invested in the transaction.
Nidd focuses on daily express deliveries to mainland Europe by road with particular emphasis on France, Spain, Portugal and Germany. Recently, the company generated revenue of about GBP 11 million.
Xpediator said that the purchase was a “complementary acquisition with immediate cross-selling opportunities and a natural fit with the group’s existing operations”. (sh)
