WDS complements its US west coast activities
A takeover has been completed in the USA, with the World Group, the parent company of World Distribution Services (WDS), acquiring Pacific Cascade, including both Pacific Cascade Distribution and Pacific Cascade Trucking headquartered in Sumner WA.
Pacific Cascade, founded in 2005 by Jeff Roulst, is a 3PL services provider offering drayage, warehousing, transloading and fulfilment. It operates around 50 trucks and a 25,000 sqm distribution facility close to Tacoma WA and the port of Seattle.
“The World Group’s recent significant investments in the Pacific Northwest, including the new WDS distribution facility and the Sun Chief express ocean service offered by UWL in collaboration with Swire Shipping, demonstrate our commitment to long-term growth in this region,” according to Roulst.
