Volsdal named PostNord Norway CEO
Jan Volsdal will take over as CEO of PostNord Norway on 1 May, bringing extensive experience from the transport and logistics sector with him.
He joins from Torghatten, one of Norway’s leading ferry and express boat operators, and previously held leadership roles at Posten Bring, Ringnes and Nobina. PostNord is working to strengthen its position as the preferred Nordic logistics provider by expanding its terminal and delivery network.
“Jan’s expertise in transformation, growth and operational efficiency will be instrumental in navigating Norway’s evolving logistics landscape,” said Annemarie Gardshol, group CEO of PostNord. With market conditions shifting rapidly, his leadership aims to drive profitable growth.
Until he takes over, Leif Hultman will serve as acting CEO, as he has since Robin Olsen left the company in December 2024. (ah)
