Volga-Dnepr specialists honoured


The XI International Forum held in St Petersburg (Russia) recently, entitled “Arctic: today and the future”, saw four Volga-Dnepr employees recognised for their contribution to developing the Arctic and Antarctic regions.

Igor Aksenov, general director, was recognised “for the development of operations of Russian airline in the Antarctic.”

Anton Antonovich, deputy general director for IL-76 operations was lauded for “for the active development of aviation logistics to serve international Antarctic stations.”

Sergey Bezdetko, the chief pilot of the IL-76 flight team, “for dedicated work during Antarctic flight operations.”

Igor Knyazev, project manager for international cooperation and business development, was recognised “for the active development of Arctic and Antarctic projects.” (cj)
