Vice-chair steps into the shoes of Peter Mollema

The International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH) has appointed Edvard Molitor of the port of Gothenburg as the new chair of the association’s ‘climate and energy’ technical committee.

Molitor, who is head of international public affairs and sustainability at his port, has served as vice-chair on the committee since 2021 and replaces Peter Mollema of the port of Rotterdam who announced last week at the IAPH annual general meeting that he would step down as chair while continuing to contribute to the association’s activities.

IAPH managing director Patrick Verhoeven: “We thank Peter Mollema for his great contribution over the years to IAPH and are grateful that Edvard Molitor has agreed to further advance the work of one of our key committee.” (cj)
