Viaduct near Beska completed
RZD International has laid the last link of the railway track on the viaduct in the Beska area at 51 km of the Stara Pazova - Novi Sad section of the Belgrade - Budapest line. Now this viaduct is finally complete. It intersects the Maradik - Beshka road. Its span structures, with a total weight of more than 2,000 t, were designed and manufactured in Russia.
On the Stara Pazova – Novi Sad section of the Belgrade – Budapest line RZD International is building the first viaduct in Serbia’s rail network able to accommodate train speeds of up to 200 km/h. It is unique for Serbia’s infrastructures – a 3 km long viaduct in the floodplain of the river Danube and the Cortanovci tunnel. (ben)
