Vessel sharing deal to boost Saudi-India trade

Folk Maritime Services has launched a new liner service connecting the Jeddah Islamic port in Saudi Arabia to India’s Mundra and Nhava Sheva ports.

The ten-day service, starting in September, aims to strengthen maritime trade ties between the two nations, promoting the movement of goods like consumer cargo and petrochemicals. Operated under a vessel sharing agreement with Oman’s Asyad Line, it is designed to contribute to Saudi Arabia's vision 2030 to boost its status as a global logistics hub while supporting regional cooperation.
