Vacad welcomes CHI Aviation
Founded in 2007, the Association of Air Cargo Handlers in Germany (Vacad) now has 16 members operating at almost all commercial airports in Germany.
A new addition is CHI Aviation Handling, based in Frankfurt/Main, which offers all air cargo services from a single source and handles over 100 freighters per month. Its customers include Air India and LOT Polish Airlines.
Managing director Dominik Misskampf supports, among other things, Vacad's efforts to reduce competitive disadvantages for German cargo handlers: "It is difficult to understand why certain security procedures are permitted in neighbouring countries and not in Germany. For passengers, security checks will be made faster and easier. I would like to see the same for the cargo sector." (ah)
