USA/Windsor: First rail shipment from new hub
Intersand America, a global cat litter producer, has opened its US headquarters in Windsor, Colorado. The rail-served production, packaging and distribution facility, located in Colorado's great western industrial park, shipped its first orders to officially commence operations.
Intersand’s inaugural rail shipment of finished product from its new US distribution facility was conveyed by Great Western Railway of Colorado (GWR), operated by Omnitrax.
The facility’s rail service and connection to Class I railroads provide safe, efficient and environmentally friendly transportation of raw materials and completed products, Intersand said. (ben)
