US class I railroad invests in Illinois and New Mexico
BNSF has two new certified industrial locations in Illinois and in New Mexico (both USA). The designated site in Illinois is the Galesburg logistics park with more than 121 ha of shovel-ready land for development and is zoned for heavy industrial use. BNSF has a major presence in Galesburg, where one of the US railway's busiest classification yards is located.
The certified site in New Mexico is the industrial park in Clovis where 97 ha are available for development. The park is near BNSF’s Southern Transcon route. Clovis is also home to a BNSF classification yard and a dispatching centre. (ben)
