UPS invests in Great Britain
UPS is continuing its strategic expansion in UK. The company has just opened an expanded air hub at East Midlands Airport (EMA).
The extended hub now covers 36,000 sqm and is equipped with automated scanning and sortation systems. The USD 190 million investment allows the hub to process 22,500 packages per hour, thus doubling the capacity of the previous facility. (sh)
