Upgraded toll box compatible with 4G
Mobility service provider UTA Edenred has introduced the new generation of its interoperable toll box. With expanded functions, the new on-board unit (OBU) UTA One next is easier to operate and more user-friendly than the previous solution.
The toll box is compatible with the 4G mobile radio standard and is permanently installed in the vehicle's on-board network. A smartphone app is available for controlling and changing vehicle settings, such as the number of axles or vehicle category.
Users also receive standard access to an online platform that enables fleet managers to monitor the OBU(s) in real time. The solution may be used for 17 tolling systems in 15 European countries. (ben)
