UP: new rail-linked opportunities
The US class I railway has added five new focus sites to its 51,500 km network. These sites are railroad hubs where Union Pacific (UP) can concentrate resources, effectively manage logistics and provide targeted services for its customers. In all, Union Pacific has 32 focus sites in its network.
The five new locations are in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Cedar City and Grantsville, Utah, and San Antonio and Texarkana, Texas. The railway also offers a site solution tool with information on more than 6,000 potential rail-served properties that are located within 800 m of its rail lines. (ben)
