Unipart makes leadership changes

The British logistics services provider Unipart has strengthened its executive leadership team with four key appointments.

Jim Hartshorne, managing director for automotive activities since April 2024, is now its managing director for commercial services, leading business development and customer engagement.

Carol Rose-Burke (pictured), who’s been with Unipart since 1994, becomes managing director for manufacturing, tasked with driving advanced manufacturing in all industries.

With Neil McNicholas’ retirement, Dr David McGorman has been appointed as the new managing director for technology, overseeing rail and public transport solutions.

Richard Gifford, in turn, IT director since 2024, has joined the executive leadership team, bringing around 25 years of expertise in IT and digital operations with him.

CEO Darren Leigh is confident that “this team will drive resilient, efficient and sustainable supply chains in all of our seven sectors.” (ah)
