Umberto Masucci confirmed as president
During the most recent Propeller Assembly, Umberto Masucci was re-elected as president of The International Propeller Clubs Italia for the 2024–2027 term.
Two major national conferences are already planned for 2025: the third edition of ‘Shipping, Transport & Intermodal’, organised by the Genoa Propeller and Telenord, will take place in Rapallo on 31 January and 1 February, and the Milan Propeller will hold the ninth edition of ‘Shipping & Logistic Meets Industry’ on 3 and 4 March.
Two significant international missions are also under consideration: in Albania, coinciding with the return of the Vespucci ship from its world tour in April, and in France, with a meeting scheduled for autumn. Propeller Clubs runs 26 clubs in Italy comprising 1,400 members representing the shipping, port, and logistics sectors. There were only eight clubs in the country about 40 years ago. (cj)
