UK ports go digital
CNS, a DP World company specialising in digital trade solutions, is introducing its CNS port community system (PCS) in UK ports.
The cloud-based platform, replacing 'Compass,' offers HMRC compliance, enhanced ease of use, cross-platform integration, and adaptability to regulatory changes. The software will promote data sharing, efficiency and resilience of the ports in a digital era, CNS says.
CNS PCS, already launched in Belfast, is set to transform trade logistics and communication for UK maritime ports, with a full transition expected by 2025. (pb)
