Uber Freight's Mexican milestone
Uber Freight is seeing double-digit growth as it hits a milestone of USD 750 million in freight under management in the Mexican market.
From its large base at Laredo, Texas, the logistics provider operates services across the border, with offerings such as brokerage, managed transport, capacity solutions, and many others. It also leverages a commercial partnership with Uber Freight Mexico customs for further brokerage.
With a new hub recently opened at Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, the company brings its total of cross-border sites to ten, as it looks to strengthen its foothold in the region. By 2025, it aims to have integrated its Mexican network into its TMS, enabling better visibility and control for shippers.
Backed by a cross-border-focused team of 1,300 employees, Uber Freight will look to build on its 77% yoy increase in new business production. (mk)
