Two new executives for Hellmann

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has hired Volker Sauerborn as new COO contract logistics, effective 1 November 2019. Sauerborn will replace Robert Bommers, who left the company by mutual agreement in June this year.

In addition, Sven Eisfeld will assume the newly created position of managing director Germany on 1 November 2019. In his role as COO CL, Sauerborn will be in charge of the entire contract logistics segment and, as a member of the executive board, he will report directly to Reiner Heiken, CEO Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

Sauerborn has more than 30 years of professional experience in the international transport industry. As managing director Germany, Eisfeld will be responsible for all the company’s product segments in Germany. The aim is to intensify the cooperation between the product segments and to ensure that all departments address the customers’ needs in the same way. (mw)
