Two hubs expanded in Spain
Palletways Iberia has moved two of its hubs to larger facilities to increase capacity in the Palletways Group’s operations in UK and Europe. The Iberia network has more than a decade of experience in the Iberian Peninsula and Islands.
Despite worldwide challenges, it has continued to secure new customers and grow the business, which has doubled in size in just five years, the network said.
The team has now relocated its central hub on the Iberian Peninsula to a 40,000 sqm facility in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid. And, just five years after the launch of its south hub in Jaén, the network has moved this facility to Bailén, 40 km away, and thus scaled up its logistics space to 18,000 sqm, which will allow it to handle three times the amount of cargo in 2022.
