Two brand-new 777 freighters for China Post

Nanjing-based China Postal Airlines is increasing its fleet to expand its international reach. The carrier, which is owned by China Postal Express & Logistics, which in turn is a subsidiary of state-owned China Post, plans to use two Boeing-built B777F mainly for its future services to USA.

Pending certification, China Postal Airlines will launch services from Nanjing to Chicago O'Hare in August 2023 and to Los Angeles in March 2024, both via Anchorage.

The first unit, the airline's first widebody aircraft and the first production freighter delivered directly from the manufacturer, was taken over from Boeing almost one month ago now, on 8 March, with the second due in mid-April. (ah)
