Trucks deliver humanitarian aid
MBS Logistics, Germany, has transported urgently required relief supplies to the earthquake zone in Turkey. The first of four trucks has already arrived in Gaziosmanpaşa near Istanbul. The vehicle was primarily loaded with 33 pallets full of donations from Centershop with warm blankets, sleeping bags, fan heaters, radiators and drinking water.
At the joint warehouse of the Turkish disaster control authority Afad and the German Red Cross, the MBS’ sister company Mentfield Logistics Germany managed the distribution to the crisis regions in Turkey through the help of its Turkish branch.
MBS is organising three other relief shipments for Turkey in conjunction with Mentfield, for which employees have donated a variety of supplies. (ben)
