Trucking goods to Macau
Following the decision of the governments of Hong Kong and Macao to open the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) to goods transport, Bolloré Logistics has launched a direct trucking delivery service to Macao.
The HZMB is a 55 km bridge-tunnel system consisting of three cable-stayed bridges, an undersea tunnel and four artificial islands. It is the longest sea crossing and the longest open-sea fixed link in the world.
Bolloré Logistics can now provide its customers with a more direct delivery service between the two cities. Compared to the previous feeder vessel distribution model, this new offering ensures faster times to market, flexible departure times and 24/7 customs clearance all year round in Macau.
As part of this new service, Bolloré Logistics Hong Kong has also expanded its fleet of electric vehicles for local deliveries. (mk)
