Trimodal hub for the Seine axis on track
Haropa Port in France is setting up a terminal in Bruyères-sur-Oise, 40 km from Paris to strengthen rail, road and river services on the River Seine axis.
Medlog, the logistics arm of MSC, won the call for the project and aims to create a trimodal logistics platform to serve the hinterland via a rail connection. The company is now starting with the construction work. The commissioning of the hub is scheduled for Q3/2024.
The terminal will handle several types of goods and flows such as containers, bulk, swap bodies and heavy parcels. It will provide reconditioning of food-grade and refrigerated containers, keep full refrigerated containers at a constant temperature and offer maintenance and container repair services. (ben)
