Trelleborg's new piloting tool
Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure has secured an exclusive licensing agreement with the Port of Auckland Limited (Poal) to distribute the eMPX application worldwide. This agreement aligns with Poal’s strategy to focus on its core business, with Trelleborg set to enhance and advance the eMPX application.
Currently used as a best practice pilotage tool in over 26 ports, eMPX is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform developed by Poal to improve the capabilities of pilots and masters in the maritime industry.
The integration of eMPX into Trelleborg's portfolio complements its existing digital piloting solutions, providing customers with options to improve operations globally. This partnership aims to benefit customers by providing enhanced support and development options. (pb)
