Train services for small consignments
Operail has launched a new regular train service for small orders. It allows customers with small consignments, where the goods do not form a separate train/project, to continue freight transport by rail. These customers can book space in a single wagon, the Estonian carrier said.
The regular train runs between Southern Estonia and Harju County (from Valga/Koidula via Tartu to the Port of Paldiski) and between Eastern Estonia and Harju County (from Narva to the Port of Paldiski). Both trains depart once a week in both directions. Operail offers this new freight service only between major Estonian freight stations. (ben)
