Tiaca announces sustainability award finalists
The International Air Cargo Association (Tiaca) has announced the results of the fourth edition of the air cargo sustainability awards, which are run in partnership with IT solutions provider Champ Cargosystems. The awards aim to recognise outstanding businesses and industry initiatives seeking to make air cargo more sustainable.
The jury evaluated the submissions on a number of criteria, including impact on society and industry, ease of implementation, innovation and the wow factor.
The jury selected these three entries as the finalists based on the judgment criteria: AeroVect for GSE automation, Cargo Ai for decarbonising the industry by use of a CO2 efficiency score and Elite Champ for its air cargo vacuum pallet.
An awards ceremony will be held during the upcoming Air Cargo Forum, in Miami Beach, 8–10 November 2022. (cj)
