Three new Turkey connections

The Austrian carrier Rail Cargo Group (RCG) is adapting its Transnet offer from and to Turkey. ÖBB’s freight branch has introduced a direct train from Giengen in Baden-Würtemberg in Germany to Cerkezköy, which is 80 km west of Istanbul (Turkey).

With two round trips per week RCG has also launched a line connecting Bratislava (Slovakia) with Istanbul. It replaces the service from Sopron (Hungary) to Istanbul.

The train frequency of the existing train between Curtici (Romania) and Istanbul will increase from two to three round trips per week, RCG added. The Transfer connection between Budapest (Hungary) and Istanbul continues to operate with four round trips per week. (ben)
