The world is not enough
At the Europa Worldwide Group’s ‘Europacom’ conference for directors CEO Andrew Baxter revealed that the company’s turnover over the last twelve months crossed the GBP 300 million mark. The firm is thus on track to adhere to its roadmap and achieve GBP 400 million turnover by the end of 2023.
This second staff conference, held at the QEII Centre in central London, was attended by 500 of the firm’s team and was livestreamed to staff in Belgium, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
When Baxter acquired the company in 2013, Europa had a staff of 450 and a turnover of GBP 76 million. Today it has more than 1,300 employees in the UK, Belgium, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The company has just opened three new roadfreight sales branches. (sh)
